Do you know which hitch you have? There should be a sticker on it with a part number. The Curt # C13073 you'd looked at would be a fit for 2010-2013 Hyundai Santa Fe models and wouldn't fit your vehicle.
On your model year, the larger front-most holes closest to the front of the vehicle are M12 x 1.25 x 40mm Class 10.9 Hex Bolts which use a 1/2 inch conical toothed washer and the remaining bolts closer to the rear of the vehicle are M10 x 1.25 x 40mm Class 8.8 hex bolts which use a 3/8 inch conical toothed washer.
Due to the age of the vehicle, there will likely be quite a bit of road gunk and corrosion built up into the nuts that are welded up into the frame member. I'd recommend giving those a good shot of a spray lubricant like WD-40 and a good scrub with a battery terminal cleaning brush like # DW00254. If the corrosion is really severe, you'll need a thread tap for the M10 bolts and the M12 bolts.
I've linked you to an installation video for the hitch I mentioned that fits your Santa Fe.
