Question:

I wanted to know if this kit Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit Item # C16307 will work with my reese 10 bolts rails that I alredy have that are from my 2014 ram 1500. I now have 2019 5th gen ram 1500. thank you

We do have some fifth wheel brackets that might fit with your Reese rails, but you shouldn’t use rails and brackets from different manufacturers. Most of the time the bolt holes don’t line up with each other.

Instead, we have part # RP56018 which are Reese brackets that fit your 2019 Ram 1500. These are outboard brackets meaning they install on the outside of the truck’s frame rails and they fit rails that are 48 inches long. If your current rails are 48 inches long, then these will work for you. You also need the hardware kit # RP58504 because you don’t want to reuse the old hardware because the hardware stretches when it is torqued down and the brackets don’t include everything to connect the rails.

If your rails are shorter than 48 inches, then your old kit is not the outboard kit and there aren’t any brackets currently available for your truck that fit those rails and you need a complete kit using part # RP56018-13.
