Does the Trim Piece On the MaxxAir Mini Deluxe Trailer Roof Vent Need Trimmed for Installation

When installing the mini vent or mini vent deluxe on a thin roof 1 do you have to cut the sleeve down to size?

In regards to installing a roof vent like the MaxxAir Mini Deluxe Trailer Roof Vent part # MA00-03851, the white trim piece that connects the top and bottom of the vent is called the garnish and this will be trimmed to fit the exact thickness of your roof. The provided garnish works with roofs 1" to 4-1/2" thick but there are taller ones available if you needed.
