Base Dimensions of MaxxTow MaxxHaul Hand Winch MT50156

Question:
What is the width of the winch mounting plate? I have an old 3.25” wide trailer that it will be mounted to as the old one is completely corroded.

The mounting plate on the MaxxTow MaxxHaul Hand Winch part # MT50156 measures 5.5" long x 3.6 wide. It's okay if the base hangs over the edge a bit but we don't have any options with a 3.2" wide base.
