The trigger wires of the Voyager Multi Camera Controller for Observation Monitor # CSW3 that you referenced are going to be the circuits you want to activate the cameras. So for example if you had a side camera that you wanted to come on when you turned on a blinker you'd tap that trigger wire into the blinker's circuit. If you wanted a camera to come on when you put the vehicle in reverse you'd use the reverse light circuit. I also recommend using the running light circuit for the rear view camera as that allows you to turn on the rear camera at any point by just switching on running lights or headlights.

I used the CSW3 when I replaced the Jensen radio in my Motorhome with an ATOTO A6 Android head unit. It works perfectly, but I want a way to switch on the rear view backup camera when driving to check up on the towed vehicle. A switch and a turn signal diode on the trigger wire could work. But I don't know if the CSW3 will power the camera when the unit is triggered by the the switch. Do you know the answer?

What about connecting one of the trigger wires to the running lights circuit on your motorhome? This would turn the rear camera on anytime you have the tail lights on.

@ChrisR Yes, I suppose that could work. But I want to be able to turn the backup camera on and off at will. Since I posted the original question, I called ASA Electronics (maker of the CSW3) and they confirmed the unit does indeed power the camera through the CEC connection cable. So my original idea should work out. I'll know in a few days when I install the switch and diode.
