Neither Thule nor Yakima recommend the use of a trunk mount bike rack on a 2005 Mustang Convertible with or without a spoiler. However, the Malone Runway Trunk Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - Adjustable Arms # MPG2142 will fit your Mustang convertible and will work with your spoilers.
