Recommendation for Mounting Thule Hideaway Awning on 2019 Promaster Van

Hello, I am looking for advice on which Thule Hideaway awning to purchase the direct mount or the rack mount. We have the Vantech H2 Cargo rack on our 2019 Promaster and am looking for which mounting option would be best. Thank you

Because you can mount the Thule Hideaway Awning- Direct Mount # TH490011 directly onto your 2019 Ram Promaster Van and we haven't tested this awning on a Vantech H2 Cargo rack, I think going with the direct mounting option is your best bet. In order to mount this on your Promaster you'll want to use the Thule HideAway Awning Adapter for Dodge ProMaster Cargo Van # TH308960, which will give you a custom mount designed specifically for your van.
If you did want to try to mount it on your Vantech H2 you'll want to use the Hideaway # TH490010 and the Roof Rack Adapters for Thule HideAway Awnings # TH490001. This kit will allow you to mount the awning on crossbars with a maximum of 3-1/2" wide and between 11/16" and 1-3/8" tall. You will need to mount these adapters at least 36" apart and no more than 42" apart.
