Question:
Hi guys Our power step is working but opposite to what it should. This started we believe after the cab battery died. The step comes in and out and we have tried with door and magnet. It works power button on and off as it should. Where it does not work is when we put key in ignition it comes out. When put in gear it stays out we tried using magnet to reset with door open and vehicle in gear but still the same result. When we measure battery cold it is 12.86 all grounds are connected and as I said step works just opposite. Any ideas

Sounds like the module has a problem which is causing it to work in reverse after a battery issue. Normally this is caused by having the wrong magnet/switch kit installed or wiring the switch setup backwards but if it worked normal and then suddenly started working in reverse that would indicate a different problem.
If you have a Kwikee 32 series set of RV steps like what you referenced the correct replacement module would be the part # LC379606.
