Question:
2000 chevy express van Replacing rotted metal cooler lines going to add-on cooler and after cutting and splicing the rubber portion of the line that comes from the oem cooler radiator, the original metal line is now leaking where it goes into the snap-in fitting on the radiator. Tried to look through the faqs as much as possible, and probably a dumb question, but how the hell do I get that snap fitting to release so I can pull that metal portion out and replace the o-ring or even to replace the whole fitting ?

Expert Reply:
You will need to get a small pick and pull the o-ring out to be able to remove the snap-in fitting. An auto parts store should be able to get you a replacement o-ring.
You could also use the special fittings for a 200 Chevy Express Van, # D13018, so you do not have to cut and flare lines.
