Question:
I will be towing a Rockwood GEO Pro 19FBS with Gross Weight of ~3900 pounds. TV will be a Ram 1500 with class IV hitch factory installed. I anticipate the Tongue Weight will be about ~550 lbs, which puts the TW at about ~14 of Gross Weight. Should I get the Blue Ox WD anti-sway bar with 350-550 BXW0550 TW or 550-750 BXW0750 TW? Will the difference just be in the ride quality? Will either of these systems work?

Expert Reply:
I'd go with the higher rated Blue Ox Sway Pro part # BXW0750 since your tongue weight will be right at 550 lbs. If you max out a WD system it basically is ineffective which is why it's always better to go on the higher side if you are right at the top of the range like you are. The ride quality will be fine since you are within the range too.
You'll need a shank for a 2-1/2 inch hitch too like the # EQ90-02-4900 since you have the 2-1/2 inch hitch.
For a 2 inch ball you'd need the part # 63845 or for 2-5/16 inch # 63847.
