Correct Orientation of Straps/Clips on Leaf Spring Packs

Question:
Does it matter what direction the strap on the leaf springs is facing front or rear when you mount them?

The strap you're pointing out in the photo is known as the rebound clip. It's meant to help prevent some axle wrap and to help keep the main leaf from breaking during a rebound. The spring should be installed so the straps are toward the front of the trailer.
