The Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch, # 75717, will fit all models of the 2011 Kia Sportage, except the SX models. As long as you have a Base model, EX or LX model, you will have no problems installing this hitch on your Sportage.
If you do have an SX model, you would want to use the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # C13120.
I added links to the installation instructions for each of these hitches for you to review prior to purchase.
If you will be towing with your Kia Sportage, you will need a trailer wiring harness, # 118526, and a ball mount with a properly sized ball. The etrailer.com ball mount kit, # 989900, will allow you to have ball mounts with both the 1-7/8 inch and 2 inch size hitch balls.
If you will be using your Sportage and the hitch to transport bikes, the Swagman XTC-2 bike rack, # S64670, is the most popular hitch mounted bike rack among our other customers who have bought a bike rack for their 2011 Sportage. I attached a video review of this rack and the 2009 Sportage for you to review. Keep in mind that if you have an SX model and you want ot carry non-trailer loads, like a bike rack, Curt Mfg. requires a stabilizer strap, like part # 18050, to help support the weight in the trailer hitch.
