Question:
I have a flat 4 way connector on my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L Plus. Just bought a boat with a trailer that has a flat 5 way connector. Looks to me like your Part 20036 4 way to 5 way converter is what I need to be able to use the surge brakes on the trailer / not have them lock up when I back up. But from reading several of your Q and As about this part, the reverse light wire may not be easy to find. I havent removed the tail light or done any other searching yet to identify the reverse light wire in order to splice in the blue wire from the 5 way. Should I start with the tail light or do I need to look elsewhere? Thanks,

You're on the right track; this is the correct adapter, and the best place to look for the reverse light circuit when installing the Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter # 20036 is on the tail light assemblies on your 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. When installing this adapter, you may need to have a friend activate each function and test the wires using a circuit tester like the # PTW2992 to get the correct wire to tap into.
