Will this product fit with the existing factory installed class II hitch?

I do have a hitch for your 2012 Ford Escape that will fit with the factory hitch that is installed on your vehicle, but the Curt Hitch # 13650 that you referenced is not designed to work on Escapes with factory hitches.
You would want a Draw-Tite Max-Frame, # 75751, as this hitch is confirmed to fit the Escapes with factory hitches. Check out the installation instructions and installation video I attached for this product.
