Does Generator That Can Run On Gas and Propane Require High Altitude Jets with Propane Source

Question:

I ordered a high altitude kit for my generator but I run LP most of the time. Does the high altitude kit only work when using gas not LP?

I checked with Firman and they indicated that when you are using a generator with propane as a fuel source you don't typically end up needing to use the high altitude jet kits. They said to go ahead and try it without and that you'd most likely find that you are totally fine with out. If you hear popping that would indicate it's running too lean which is what the high altitude jets would compensate for.
