What do I need to tow 02 Tahoe 4x4 behind Tiffin Zephyr motor home with a Dominator tow bar?

According to my research, the 2002 Tahoe 4WD is capable of being flat towed without modification. Please check your owners manual for confirmation and procedures.

In addition to the Dominator tow bar you mentioned, # DM9511008, and its included safety cables, you will also need a base plate kit, wiring to connect the lighting of your Tiffin Zephyr to the Tahoe tail light system and in most states and Canadian provinces, a supplemental braking system.

The Demco base plate kit needed for your Tahoe would be part # DM9518077.

The easiest wiring solution for your Tahoe would be the Roadmaster Bulb and Socket Tail Light Wiring Kit, part # RM-155. A bulb and socket type system will keep the tow bar lighting completely independent of the Tahoe wiring and is very easy to install.

Since the Tiffin Zephyr is a diesel with air brakes the best braking system is the Air Force One, # SM99243, from Demco. A system specifically designed for air brakes is essential to prevent false braking. It doesn't use the motorhome's brake lights to engage the Tahoe's brakes like other systems for hydraulic brakes do.
