Flat Towing Wiring for Suzuki Samurai with Separate Tail Lights

Question:
Vehicle being towed a Suzuki Samari has seperate stop and turn signals. Towing vehicle a 2005 Dodge PU has single stop and turn signals. Vehicle not being put on trailer. Want to wire the existing lights on the towed vehicle to connect to tow vehicle. What would be nice is something like a reverse tail light converter. IDK any susggestings as to how to do this?

Although there are two different methods of wiring a towed vehicle that uses separate turn signals, we recommend using the 6 diode kit part # 154-792-118158, which includes the converter you mentioned.

Keep in mind that in addition to a tow bar, base plates and wiring, you will also need safety cables if you do not already have them. For straight cables, use part # RM-645. If you prefer coiled cables, use part # RM-643. Many states now require a supplemental braking system like the Roadmaster Even Brake, part # RM-9400.
