Replacement for FIC Door Latch on RV

Question:

I need a replacement for a fic 23348 cr6 door lock. The cutout hole is 2-3/4inch wide and 4-3/4inch high. Can you help?

I believe I have a solution for you, but I think you may need to remeasure your cutout and/or compare the measurements of your current latch with one of ours. Since latches tend to be fairly universal in size when it comes to the RV world the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit # 295-000021 should work as an exact replacement.

This latch kit measures 3.47" wide x 4.28" tall, fits doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick, and installs into cutouts that are 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall. If the dimensions of your current latch match (or are pretty close) to what I just mentioned then this will fit and work just like your current latch.

Let me know if your latch has significantly different measurements and I can see if we have an alternative solution for you.
