Question:
Hello, I am trying to find a cylinder like this that will fit inside of a steel tube. Could you tell me what the largest outside diameter is on the neck of this unit so that I can be sure it will fit inside our tubes? Thank you!

I had the Replacement Angling Cylinder for Western Snowplow # 3371304220 pulled from our warehouse so that I could measure this for you. Using a digital calipers I measured the outside diameter on the neck of the unit at 2.95".
I've also included a diagram of this as well.
