I may have an opportunity to get a decent price on a set of 2013 gmc extended cab nerf bars. Would they fit a 2016 crew cab? Both trucks are 2500’s.

The cab style of trucks has to match when trying to fit one set of bars to a new vehicle as that's what the length of the bars is based on. So a set from an extended cab would not fit a crew cab. So you'd need the part # 21-23720 for your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 crew cab.
