Recommended Over the Cab Ladder Rack with Removable Rear Bar for 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

Hi. Hoping you can help me here. I have a 2020 Silverado 1500 with the 6-1/2 foot bed. I am looking for a good ladder rack with over the cab portion as well. I want to be able to remove the rear bar assembly though when needed, when I only am using the cab rack. What would be the best option for this? I hope that makes sense....Thanks for your help!

For your 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 6-1/2 foot bed I highly recommend the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever # TH43002XT-781EX. This unique system features T-track base rails that will run along the length of your Silverado's bed, allowing you to slide the uprights back and forth to accommodate different sized loads. The rear uprights and crossbar can easily be removed when needed and the included cantilever extension adds 32" of rack over the cab and by itself has a 1,000 pound weight capacity.

I have included the full install manual below that you can look through as well. All the needed hardware will be included.
