This is a great way to get your kayak to your destination without trying to find a way to hoist it up on the roof of your motorhome.
If you'd like to make loading the kayak easier you can use a roller system like the Yakima HandRoll Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # Y04082-2 so that you can easily load your boat from the back of your vehicle.
