Battery Isolator Recommendation for 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser Running Second Battery
Published 01/24/2020 >
Question:
Need to install a deep cycle second battery on my 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser for winch and auxiliary lighting. Would like to use a high CCA battery. I have a stock alternator that I believe is a 100 amp type. Your recommendations with wiring diagram would be helpful. Thanks.

Since the alternator of your 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser is rated for 100 amps the Deka isolator part # DW08771 that you referenced would be exactly what you are looking for. I attached a wiring diagram for this isolator for you to check out as well.
