Are the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning - Programmable Available in Different Colors

Question:

ordering the awning for first install is there options on fabric colors? White fade or black implies the color is an option.

Yes the Awnings are available in different colors. The Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning - Black Fade part # LC517486 has black arms and the awning itself fades from white at the very end to black closer to the camper. When fully retracted it looks all black. The Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning -White Fade part # LC405492 has white arms and the awning fades from black at the very outside edge to white closer to the camper. When it is closed it looks all white.

Something to consider is the Solera Smart Arm Wind Sensor Kit part # LC715123. This is designed to offer protection for the Smart Arm awning in poor weather conditions. When extreme wind is detected, the awning will automatically retract, giving you piece of mind if you're away from your campsite when bad weather hits. You can choose between 3 different levels of wind sensitivity, or you can deactivate the wind sensor altogether. Just mount the sensor below the drive head on the awning arm, and plug the wiring harness directly into the Smart Arm touchpad. This can really help save you from a windstorm causing you a major headache while out camping and wind up costing you your awning.
