The Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks # PVD20B will work with Hollywood Racks TRS 2 Electric Bike Rack # HR3500E.

The TRS 2 rack lets you carry up to 2 electric bikes weighing up to 65 lbs each, and can handle fat tire bikes with tires up to 4.5" wide. It uses a ratcheting wheel hook, and straps to hold the bike, so there is no frame contact and no worries of scratches on your bike.

A lot of bikes now have fenders and can interfere with the wheel straps and require a different way to mount to the carrier. If this is the case for your bikes I recommend Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Rack # HLY84FR. The Sport Rider lets you carry up to 2 electric bikes, but has a frame hook that holds the bike rather than a wheel hook. It also has a higher weight capacity of 80 lbs per bike.

The Kuat Pivot 2 can carry up to a 4 bike rack, and has a capacity of 250 lbs. It's designed to work with 2" hitches, which is great because the TRS2 and Sport Rider have 2" shanks. The Pivot 2 can not be used with bike racks that have an 1 1/4" with an adapter.

So, if your bikes are within the weight limit of the TRS2 (65 lbs) or the Sport rider (80 lbs) the Kuat Pivot 2 can handle the weight since the weight of both bikes, and the carrier are going to be under the 250 lbs capacity.

There are 2 different versions of the Kuat Pivot 2, one will swing to the driver's side # PVD20B, and one that swings to the passenger side # PVP20B. Both have the same features and weight capacities, so the only difference is which direction it swings out.
