How Far Do Brackets Stick Out for Lippert Solera Slide-Out (Slide-Topper) Awning

Published 11/19/2019

Question:

Not necessarily this part exactly, but my question is on the toppers, how far out do the brackets extend out beyond the box flange when installed? Reason I ask, the top of the slideout box-outer top flange is only 5 inches from the side of the main awning that extends out. I'm thinking there may not be enough room without them touching?

The brackets for a Lippert Solera Slide-Out (Slide-Topper) Awning will extend out about 2-1/2" more than the awning fabric itself on either side. So the part # LCV000184673 that you mentioned, for example, has fabric that is 133" wide. This means that the edges of the brackets (or the arms that hold the roller) will sit about 138" apart from each other.

If you can tell me the width of your box and the desired color you'd like I can recommend the correct-sized awning for your slide-out from the attached selection.
