Question:

i am putting an aluminum flatbed on my 2006 tundra doublecab w/ tow package. what kind of wiring harness can i use that will plug into factory pigtail for 4inch round led stop/turn/tail lights? also, what are your best led lights for this application? could possibly wire into trailer light socket? thanks for your help,

While we do not sell an aftermarket pigtail that would allow you to simply plug into your current tail light assembly you could use a circuit tester to identify the circuits of your tail light assembly and then wire the Optronics Clearance Light # STL23CCRB to the correct circuits. For a circuit tester you could use our part # PTW2993.

The harness you would need with this light would be the Pigtail Harness # A47PB. From that harness you would run the white wire to ground, red to turn signal/brake and black to tail light.

Since the bulbs on your truck are incandescent and you will be going to an LED light you will need to install a Putco LED Load Resistor # P230004A on each bulb to prevent hyperflashing. I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
