Lowest Outside Temperature Everchill Refrigerators Will Work At
Updated 10/30/2019 | Published 10/27/2019 >
Question:
I have an Everchill refrigerator installed in a newly purchased RV. My RV is on a permanent site which I can use all year. Can the refrigerator be left running over the winter when there is no heat on in the RV? I would like to keep food stored in it all year but I am afraid of damaging the compressor. It will get below freezing temperature.

The Everchill refrigerators, like the 12V # 324-000119, will work until the temperature goes below 25 degrees Fahrenheit. So these will work below freezing, but not by much. I confirmed this with my contact at Everchill.
