How do you open the slide bar end caps to install screws

I attached a picture that shows the install instructions for the Patrick Distribution RV Slide Bar Hand-Held Shower Set # 277-000035 that you referenced. Basically the slide bar attaches to the wall and then there are two silver covers that fit over brackets.
