Landing Gear Legs Keep Blowing Fuse Even After New Motor
Updated 10/21/2019 | Published 10/20/2019 >
Question:
So I replaced my jack motor and installed a new battery. I’m still blowing my thirty amp fuse . Could the relay cause my problem. I bought the motor from y’all just a month ago.

If you still continue to blow a fuse on your lading gear legs even with a new motor then that would lead me to believe you have an issue with the wiring or switch. Therefore, I recommend you trace the wires from the motor to the switch and then from the switch to the battery. If I had to guess I would say you have a short in one of these wires but I don't think the relay would be your issue.
The Lippert Components Ignition Proof 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Switch w/Harness part # LC145236 comes with a new switch and harness so this would be a viable replacement as well.
