Ford Ranger power lock. Can this be unlocked with a key?

Good question, but the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock - Power # PAL8200 will only fit if your 2006 Ford Ranger does not have a manual lock on the tailgate, which means there isn't an option to use this lock with a key.

Since you have the plastic handle on your '06 Ranger, you can use the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock for Plastic Tailgate Handle - Manual # PAL2310 (Black) to add a lock which you can unlock with a key.
