Please. What is the towing capacity of a Dodge Dakota Sport 2000? I can pull a trailer fielded with construction trash. Does can use my pickup to transport this type of material.

I looked up your 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport and it looks to have a towing capacity of between 6,100 to 6,700 lbs so as long as your trailer would weigh less than that when loaded you'd be totally fine.
If you are in need of a trailer hitch I'd recommend the USA made Curt hitch part # C13280 as it has great towing capacities and the shortest listed install time. Plus it's the best looking since only the hitch opening hangs down below the rear bumper.
