I have a 2012 Dodge 3500 truck with an 8foot bed. I have a Hidden Hitch 18K 5th wheel hitch #50016 on a round tube slider #50008. I am looking for a mounting kit to mount this hitch in my truck. What do I need?

There are a couple of installation kit options for the 2012 Dodge Ram 3500. Since you have a 3500 series, you almost certainly have overload springs (you can have the dealer run the VIN to determine if it does). The custom kit, # RP50140-58, will fit with or without overload springs BUT it will not fit if the truck as a gas engine AND overload springs.
The other option is a semi-custom installation kit, # RP30035-186. There is a little more drilling involved but it will fit with or without overload springs no matter what engine is in the truck. I have included links to the instructions for both kits for you to view.
Given that the truck has an 8 foot bed, engaging the slider will not be necessary but you can still use it if you wanted to.
