I have a demco fwh 24p. Got it with my fifth wheel. I have a dodge ram 2500 2006. will my hitch fit or do I need a different install kit

The Demco fifth wheel hitch fwh 24p came in two different styles. If you see UL or Ultra on the hitch anywhere it was designed to fit standard fifth wheel rails but if instead you see SL the rails needed actually go the opposite direction and require a different style rail kit.
So if you have the UL you'd need the kit part # DM8552016-71 for a set of industry standard rails. If you see SL instead you'd need the # DM8553003-12. Both of these kits come with the rails and everything needed to install them in your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500.
