Question:

I understand the dimensions you have provided but it is missing the dimension for side to side, such as how wide of a spring can fit between the U-Bolts.

The width dimension of the U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 3500-lb Axles # APUBR-1 is 2-3/8", which is the typical diameter of a 3500-lb axle. These can be used to mount leaf springs 1-3/4" wide to an axle when used with with the included plates and Spring Seat for Typical 3500-lb Round Trailer Axles # TRSS238 .
