Recommendations for Removing Exhaust Rattle after Installing a Hitch on a 2007 Subaru Forester

Question:
2007 Subaru Forester NA To who it may concern, Noise from muffer, I installed my hitch yesterday and notice the muffer hanger is touching the hitch at the cut through on the driver side. Now I have rattle at idle and take off. Have I install it wrong or do I have to change the hanger bushing. Thank you in adavnce for any help with this matter, Rob Brackens

There are a couple methods for eliminating exhaust rattle after a hitch is installed. Check out the video I attached to see the recommended methods for doing this.
Changing the exhaust hanger could work and is one of the recommended methods for eliminating exhaust rattle.
