Will this system need to be coupled with a ATS to move between the different sources of power I may input? Alt., Gen, Shore?

The Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4560K18LS8 is designed to accept AC input and then put out either AC or DC power. So the generator and shore power sources you mentioned are fine but if you want to run alternator power (12 volt DC) you'd have to have the voltage converted with a converter like # 34280178.
