Question:
I have the castle nut off but the hub wont come off. Brakes dont seem to be the problem as the hub turns freely. Any suggestions?

It's possible that the drum has very deep grooves worn into them which then the brake pads of the brake assemblies would then be still holding the hub on... even though they are still able to turn by hand. Try spinning the adjustment wheel to loosen the assemblies as much as you can and try again. It should allow the hub to come off.
