Using Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly on Incline
Updated 09/09/2019 | Published 09/06/2019 >
Question:
will the electric trailer dolly move the trailer if on an incline pushing up? I unfortunately have an incline about 30 long at approximately 1foot to 1.3inch in the 30. can it do it, or is it too much of an incline? I have no pics, sorry.

I reached out to my contact at Trailer Valet regarding the XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL2 you referenced and he said that they have tested this unit to work well on up to a 7-8 degree incline.
Based on the 12 inch run and 1.3 inch rise you listed for your hill you are looking at around a 6 degree incline. With this in mind the Trailer Valet XL will work great for your application. Please just keep in mind that the powered drill bit shouldn't be used when pushing the dolly up a hill so you will need to use the manual crank instead. This will still allow for easy operation because of its chain drive system and multiple gear settings.
I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
