Question:

I wanted to know if I could use the 60¨EVO Wingbar vs the 53¨on my 2009 Toyota Highlander with raised rails. I wanted to maximize space so I can carry my canoe and kayak at the same time.

Because of the limited mounting channel on the underside of the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars 60" # TH711520, they are not a confirmed fit with the raised rails on your 2009 Toyota Highlander but I do have an alternative. The Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00426 and TimberLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y33TR provide another option for you to get additional width to carry both your canoe and kayak or other accessories. The Jetstream crossbars are aerodynamic, looking great and reducing wind noise atop your vehicle.

One point to consider is the maximum weight limit for cargo that you will want to check when adding up the weight of your canoe, kayak, rack, and other accessories.
