Will incandescent trailer lights 1157s work ok when connected to a vehicle with led lights?

In order to safely avoid overloading your vehicle's wiring system, you would need to have a trailer wiring harness with a powered converter that supplies power to the trailer lights similar to the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4 pole flat # C59236 . If your vehicle has a factory tow package that came with a wiring harness installed, you'll likely already have a powered converter installed in-line with the wiring harness.

This allows you to safely run the incandescent trailer lights without worrying about damaging your vehicle electrical system or the trailer lights not getting enough power. If you can let us know what your tow vehicle is, I can recommend a wiring kit specifically for your tow vehicle.
