The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7377 that fits your 2018 Honda Clarity weighs approximately 35 lbs.

Th hitch has the 2" receiver, and I have added a photo that a customer submitted of the EcoHitch installed on their '18 Clarity for you to take a look at so you can check out exactly how it will look when installed on your '18 Clarity.

Hello, thanks for a great website. On the 2018 Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid trailer hitch, it lists a towing rating of 300 pounds... Are you aware if this includes safely towing a trailer? I have a 150 pound Yakima trailer that we often place bikes on, etc. and would like to have perspective on this prior to purchasing. Thank you in advance

Thanks for the kind words! I was able to track down the owner's manual for your Honda Clarity and the only thing it says under the "Towing a Trailer" section is that the vehicle shouldn't tow a trailer - so it doesn't seem promising. Because of this I can't recommend pulling even a light bike trailer, as doing so could void the vehicle's warranty. Are these heavier/larger bikes that wouldn't work on a hitch-mounted rack?

@ChrisR Thanks Chris! The bikes could work on a this hitch and rack no problem... It's my 15' kayak that I need the trailer for :-)
