Lost Key for Sears Sport20-SV Cargo Carrier

Question:
Sears Sport20-SV. Carrier is locked and key is lost. The lock cover appears to show 001. I have a replacement cylinder with keys. Also have the cylinder change key. How do I get it unlocked to change cylinder ?

I have a quick and easy solution for you! Since Thule owns the Sears Cargo series, you can use the Thule Replacement Keys. Since your lock has the 001 key code/lock ID, you can use # THKEYN001 to unlock your cargo box and even use it as a replacement key. From there, you can keep using the 001 key or use the change key you've got to change out the lock core and use the new lock cores you've already got.
