Why Doesn't CE Smith Stake Pocket # CE45004G Have Bottom

Question:
Do you have any stake pockets that have a bottom lip to keep the 2x4 from falling all the way down. The CE45004G does not have this lip as far as I can see from your pictures

Since most stake pocket applications involve letting the board fall as far as it can into the pocket and a horizontal board attached to the 2x4 providing how it stops none of the stake pockets we offer like the # CE45004G have bottoms.
