The Curt Tow Bar with Adjustable-Width Arms # C19745 will not fit the 2006 Ford Freestyle since the Freestyle cannot be flat towed. Assuming that you have the Front Wheel Drive model of the 2006 Freestyle, you would need to use a tow dolly similar to the Demco Kar Kaddy # DM9713045 . The Kar Kaddy has a 4,800-lb capacity, which will safely carry your vehicle. The Kar Kaddy comes with disc brakes built in and will offer you the ability to fold it up for easy storage when it's not in use.

If your 2006 Ford Freestyle is the AWD model, you would need to tow this vehicle with a trailer that keeps all 4 wheels off the ground.
