Troubleshooting Jensen RV Stereo Playing Movies in Black and White

Question:
When a dvd not a Blu-ray type is inserted and begins to play, its in black and white no color and grainy and sometimes distorted...

The Jensen RV Stereo - Double DIN # JWM60A that you referenced is not supposed to be capable of playing Blu Ray discs so if you are in fact trying to play a Blue Ray video that would be your problem.
When we see this issue normally with DVDs played on Jensen stereos it's a source issue on the TV. Typically you have to change the TV to component.
