are the base plates for a 2015 Ford explorer different lengths ? i.e. one length for a Ford with adaptive cruise control, and a DIFFERENT overall length for on without Adaptive cruise control?

Actually the Blue OX base plate kit part # BX2632 fits the versions of the 2015 Ford Explorer with and without the adaptive cruise control so there isn't a different length or different part number that's needed.
