How Long Of A Fly Rod Will The Yakima DoubleHaul Rooftop Fly Rod Carrier Carry

Question:
Would the Carrier work with 106inch rods? Description says it can go up to 11 feet but doesnt mention rod length going up.

Yes, the Yakima DoubleHaul Rooftop Fly Rod Carrier part # Y04087 can hold up to 4 fly rods that are up to 10' each. If you ever want to carry rods that are longer then 10' you can also break them down to make them fit as well but It sounds like your fly rod is a little over 8' so the Yakima DoubleHaul will work well for you. Yakima was just here last week and this Fly Rod Carrier is great quality and looks nice on top of the vehicle too.
