Question:
I recently purchased a 2008 dodge ram 3500. Went to hook up a trailer and nothing on the 7way works. No lights and no 12v power. Havent found a bad fuse. Where should I look next?

It sounds like you are not getting power to the 7-way. It was a good idea to check the fuses first but if your 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 has a tow package it may be worth looking into the locations of your tow package fuses just to be sure. If you have a factory towing package and the 12V power circuit on the 7-way does not have power when you test it with a circuit tester then remove the 7-way plug. Test the 12V circuit on the factory tow package harness itself. If you do not have power then it is a fuse or the truck needs to be looked at by a mechanic. If the factory tow package harness has power then your 7-way plug needs to be replaced with part # HM40975.
If the 7-way plug is an aftermarket plug that was hardwired then you want to make sure it is grounded to a clean bare metal surface of the frame. Then you want to check the black power wire connection the the battery via the circuit breaker. The power wire from the 7-way to the Ram's battery may not be connected or it could be damaged and needs to be replaced.
