This just shows the latch. Does the piece that attaches to the back that actually holds the door closed come with it?

Because this part is meant as a replacement, the cam latch or lever isn't provided. The idea is that the old one would be reused. Camco does offer the same product that would include both a straight and an offset latch, part # CAM44323. The threaded barrel is 7/8 of an inch thick, and would be compatible with most RV storage compartment doors.
